FINANCIAL REALITY FAIR AT CONCORD CARLISLE HIGH SCHOOL

President Sheila Watts explains what is good about credit cards to a potential customer at the Financial Reality Fair held sponsored on April 7 by Rotary, Concord Youth Services and CCHS. High school seniors received a paycheck equal to their monthly salary with taxes and student loans deducted. They visited tables where they purchased housing, utilities, insurance, transportation, clothing, and food. Although they had to make compromises, most students learned that they could survive on their salaries with careful planning.
