The Rotary Club of Concord will meet at Newbury Court Oct. 23 at 12:15 p.m.  (BYOL) Bring Your Own Lunch. It is our traditional participation in the Rotary Million Dollar Meal, a collective effort to raise money to stamp out polio. World Polio Day is Oct. 24 so the money the Club would ordinarily pay for lunches will be sent to support polio immunization programs. Steve Verrill of Verrill Farm fame is our keynote speaker, educating us about sustainable agriculture. Verrill farmland is in the Agricultural Preservation Restriction Program. This promises to be a great meeting. The public is invited.
