Donate Personal Care Items for Open Table Food Pantry in Maynard
For a third year, the Rotary Club of Concord is spearheading a donation drive for personal care items for Open Table. The Drive will run from now until the end of March. The following items are not covered by SNAP/food support programs so Open Table must purchase them for the individuals and families they serve. This year federal cuts have made the NEED even greater.

Priority Items
Diaper Sizes: 4, 5, 6 and Baby Wipes for young families served by Open Table.
Donations of toothpaste and shampoo are also needed.

The Rotary Club of Concord has a long-standing partnership with Open Table which supports food insecure households in 21 communities. The 2025 Donation Drive
collected more than 562 pounds of personal care items and monetary donations. The Rotary Club of Concord is an active group of volunteers doing service projects locally and globally. The Club holds an annual Golf Tournament to raise money for six scholarships for local high school students. The Club sponsors eight sophomore high school students to attend a Rotary sponsored Leadership weekend in June. The Club supports a Rotary Interact Club at the high school. Club members also volunteer their time in the community including: social events for senior citizens, programs for the Assabet Valley Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity Build days at Assabet Bluff, cooking meals for those in need and supporting veterans.

Rotary International is a service organization with a global network of 1.2 million members promoting peace through service projects. Rotarians take ACTION to provide clean water and sanitation, fight disease and hunger, protect the environment, support education, improve maternal and childcare, and assisting economic growth for underserved areas around the globe. Rotary is a leader in working to eradicate Polio worldwide. Responding to the war in Ukraine, Rotary International raised $15 million for humanitarian relief which was distributed in the form of disaster response grants. Rotarians continue to provide help in Ukraine through grants from the Rotary Foundation.
