The Rotary Club of Concord announced winners of Rotary Scholarships as it prepares to launch its 25th annual Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Golf Tournament Aug. 19, 2013 to benefit the Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund.

Thanks to the generous support of the community for last season’s Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Golf Tournament, the Rotary Club of Concord was able to give $19,750 in scholarships to graduating seniors and previous winners who are continuing their college educations. Among the winners are Jack Struck, recipient of the William L. Eaton Memorial Scholarship, who will attend American University and Rose Paleologos, recipient of the Thomas R. Huckins Memorial Scholarship, who will attend Emerson College. Other graduating high school seniors who received scholarships are Casey Mandrioli, attending Bryant College and Stephanie Malis, attending Syracuse University. Receiving Rotary Scholarships for a second time, Kendra Lisenby is a student at New England College, Anthony Perugini continues at the University of Virginia, and Madeline Mahoney at New York University. Willliam Moss, who was awarded a Rotary scholarship for the third time, will return to the University of Richmond. The Concord Carlisle Scholarship Fund selected these students from among applicants who meet Rotary’s ideals for community service, integrity, kindness, leadership and civic responsibility. Congratulations students!
