The Rotary Club of Concord invites you to its 43nd Annual Pops Night featuring the Concord Band with popular jazz singer/songwriter Amanda Carr on April 6, 2018 at 8 p.m. at The Performing Arts Center, 51 Walden Street in Concord. The doors open at 7:00 p.m. for you to enjoy refreshments and browse the silent auction. The pops-style table seating offers you a chance to unwind and visit with friends. Tickets at $30 each may be purchased online at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/crp or by calling Dick Hale at 978-394-5158.  All seats are reserved. Proceeds benefit Concord’s new Minuteman Bike-Share and other service programs.

Rotary is enthusiastic about partnering with the Concord Recreation Department to fund Concord’s participation in the Minuteman Bike Share Program. Bike sharing is an innovative bike rental system providing users the ability to pick up a bicycle at a self-serve bike station and return it to any other bike station located within the system’s service area.  Concord stations will be located at the Visitor’s Center in Concord and the Rail Trail entrance in West Concord. The program will provide environmentally friendly, inexpensive rental bikes for tourists to visit Concord’s historical sites and businesses.

Even if you are unable to attend the concert, you can help Concord offer visitors and residents this biking option by purchasing an ad in the POPS concert program book or donating an item to the silent auction. The program book will feature full-page ads of contributors and a centerfold map of Concord showing key area locations. The book will be widely distributed throughout the year to area businesses and individuals. To place an ad, please visit rotaryclubofconcord.org and click on POPS in the menu at the top, then select the order form.
