Our 38th Annual Thomas R Huckins Golf Tournament was held on August 31st at The Concord Country Club. Under sunny blue skies Rotarians gathered early to set up for this major fundraising event. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Scholarship Fund and other charitable projects. We appreciate this year's Platinum Sponsors, Emerson Hospital, Barrett Sotheby's International Realty ( Maurer/Widell Team) and Deaconess Abundant Life. The day was full of fun and good natured competition. There were chances to win a bottle of liquor at the putting green by getting the ball in a hole next to a bottle. Thanks to all who donated the bottles and paid to play! There was also a chance to win money by getting a hole in one, which sadly nobody did. We had many great raffle prizes to win and also a silent auction all of which added to the proceeds and made the day even more fun. The day ended with a delicious dinner and lots of socializing. Many thanks to Karl Kussin, Joe Saia and Phyllis Maurer for chairing this event as well as all the sponsors and golfers that made this another successful Golf Tournament.
